The SIA Safety Orientation is an online training program that provides a general overview of SIA’s safety policies and procedures. If you are planning on visiting SIA for work or any reason (excluding public tours of the plant), please check with your SIA contact to find out if completion of this program is required prior to your arrival.
While this online training program provides a general overview of SIA’s safety policies and procedures, if you are performing any work at SIA, you may be required to complete formal training in areas including, but not limited to: Hot Work, Confined Spaces, Lifts, Hazard Communications, Lockout/Tagout, etc., depending on the nature and scope of your work.
Certification is valid for 2 years.
INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure your safety while at SIA, we require successful completion of SIA's Safety Orientation Training program. For your convenience, you can complete this training online any time prior to your visit to SIA.
You will be required to complete the following sections of SIA's Safety Orientation Training program:

Part One- Safety Orientation English – Part 1

Part Two- Safety Orientation English – Part 2

SIA Class 1 Division 1 Training
Or
-
Part One- Safety Orientation Japanese – Part 1

Part Two- Safety Orientation Japanese – Part 2
In addition, you will be required to download and complete the Safety Orientation Certification- SIA Safety Training completion confirmation page.
If you are unable to complete the online training program prior to your visit, you will be required to complete the training upon arrival at SIA.
Once the training is completed, please return the downloaded “Safety Orientation Certification” to the Security Department for verification and badge issuance.
