Maintenance Program

The Advanced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Program (AMMT) at SIA

  • The two-year AMMT program combines 26 weeks of Vincennes University curriculum with on-the-job training (OJT) to prepare individuals for a career in industrial maintenance at SIA. Participants split time between classes at the Technical Training Center and OJT in their assigned shop (Stamping, Body, Paint 1, Paint 2, Trim & Final, Powertrain, or Building).

  • The program covers various topics, including electrical, PLC, mechatronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and print reading. Participants are hired as a Production Associates and, upon successfully completing both components of the program, are converted to a Maintenance Associate.

  • The AMMT program has three groups start each year. Program start dates may vary.
